21st Domino World Champion 2015: Hans Moskopp
The 21st Domino World Cup went for the first time to Bremen. Hans Moskopp was a short-time replacement for a missing player and the latest newcomer while also the eldest. With his 84 years of life experience he showed the youth how to win a championship. All his competitors gave him a helping hand so that his victory is a good example for community success of the Bremen team.
The contest was held decentralized from 27th to 31st december 2015 at seven places in Norway, Switzerland and Germany and joined 55 players.
The new team from Munich took part for the second time and was almost winning the title, when the eval commission detected an input error and sent all results back into recalculation process.
Udo Sauermann, domino doyen in Northrhine Westphalia, became vice champion.
The 2014 world champion Jürgen Polley crash landed on rank 45, while three of his team mates (Dennis and Nick Nolting, Ralf Kemkes) made it to top 3 to 5. Best Swiss participant was newcomer Urs Vonaesch from Solothurn on rank 6, best Norwegian Benn Johan Rislå from Arendal on rank 8.
